Kgomotso Mojapelo

Kgomotso Mojapelo is Group Chief Financial Officer of Gauteng Department of Economic Development (GDED) with over 30 years public services experience. He holds Honors Degree in Public Management. His experience in governance structures, financial management, supply chain management, strategic planning management accounting spans over sixteen years as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). She has a sound knowledge of PFMA, TR , BBBEE Act, and PPPFA.

Being the Group CFO, Mr. Mojapelo lead the financial management of the GDED entities namely, Gauteng Growth Development Agency (GGDA), Gauteng Enterprise Propeller (GEP), Gauteng Tourism Authority (GTA), Gauteng Liquor Board(GLB) and Gauteng Gambling Board (GGB).

During his tenure as a strategic leader in sound management of finances, the department and trading entities he leads have been achieving unqualified audit opinions (clean audits) from the 2013/14 financial year up until 2024/25 audit pinion issued by the Office of the Auditor General. This was an accomplishment in line with his good governance, transparency, and observance of good financial practices.
