Ilse Myburgh obtained her Bachelors Degree in business management from the North West University in Potchefstroom in 2008.
In 2009, Ilse started Umphumela Management Consulting with Denys Myburgh to assist municipalities with the implementation of a reliable, credible and accurate Performance Management System. Umphumela assisted municipalities in obtaining clean performance audits at the Uthungulu District, City of Umhlathuze and Ntambanana Local Municipalities for multiple financial years.
In 2021 Ilse joined the King Cetshwayo District Municipality on a permanent basis as the Manager: Performance Management System and was responsible for the successful implementation of an electronic performance management system. The PMS-Unit oversaw the cascading of performance management through a phased-in approach. During her tenure with the municipality, KCDM maintained clean performance audits for the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 financial years.
Ilse joined Munsoft in the Advisory division in February 2023 as the Product Manager: Performance Management to aid Munsoft clients in obtaining clean performance audits through the implementation of an electronic performance management system and expert good governance advice with specific focus on inculcating a culture of success management.
